Operation Christmas Child

November 16-23

Operation Christmas Child is a world-wide ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. Globally, Operation Christmas Child is a program that takes simple shoe boxes filled with gifts for a boy or a girl.

In December, heartaches give way to hope for millions of suffering families as Operation Christmas Child teams begin blanketing war-torn or disaster-worn regions around the world, bearing gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love.

This is a great project to do with your children or as a group service project. Visit Operation Christmas Child for more details.

Gift ideas are simple toys, school supplies, hygien items, candy, a personal note and a prayer.

and / or

Volunteer your time (ages 12 and up), individuals and area service clubs are needed to assist in recording, crating, and loading thousands of shoe boxes into waiting trucks. Contact Daun Bauer at 608-241-5589 / 608-692-5589 or monarchmom@sbcglobal.net to be a part of this mission effort.

Sophia's Heart

Looking for Volunteers

We exist to help mend and heal the hearts of children and families who have been touched by poverty, sickness, disease, broken homes and broken dreams.

Our heart is to reach out and meet needs in the community. This includes, but is not limited to food and clothing. SHF holds food and clothing drives at different times of the year in order to be able to help with needs in the community. For times, dates and locations, please check periodically in our news section.

None of us are exempt from unforeseen events that could put us in a state of need. By helping families in need we are showing them that, “it is you this time, but it could be me in the future.”

Community United Praise and Worship

Community United Praise and Worship is a non-profit organization in Madison created to inspire young girls who would otherwise have no other outlet for their creative energies. This group was established in May 2009 in hopes of offering a way to participate in an environment that supports and accepts young girls just the way they are.

The organization is now seeking sponsors so that the stability needed by many of the youth participants may continue. All proceeds go directly to supplying uniforms, transportation to and from different performances, renting practice facilities, healthy snacks, music supplies, children's study Bibles, notebooks, etc.

We will thankfully accept any form of donation.

For more information, please contact the Founder and Director, Cresie Hayes@gmail.com.

Pray For Others

No matter what your situation in life, you can always pray for others. There are many who are asking for prayer.

Revelation 3:20
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.
