Life Staff Fun Facts

What is your favorite food?

Greg: Noodles - Italian. Although the older I get the less I can tolerate it. (If you know what I mean.)

Bruce: Stuffed shells... Favorite "junk food" would probably be nachos.

Ann: Cheesburgers

Mike P: Pizza

Mike E: Marinated chicken and steak shish kabobs on the grill

Mary: Lobster

Jayne: Fried chicken

Tom: Mmmmm...chocolate

Jen: Hamburgers

What is your favorite color?

Greg: Depends on my mood, but generally I like bright colors...a warm, rich, royal purple is probably my most fave.

Bruce: Blue

Ann: Purple

Mike P: Milwaukee Brewers Blue

Mike E: Green

Mary: Blue

Jayne: Forest Green

Tom: Green

Jen: Green

What is your favorite book?

Greg: The book I'm reading at the time...I like historical fiction and spy novels. Right now I'm reading "The Source" by James Mitchem. A book with lots of pictures and big writing helps, too.

Bruce: The Bible; I had a hard time putting down "The Firm" when I read that one many years ago.

Ann: "Captivating" by Stasi and John Eldridge

Mike P: The Bible

Mike E: Other than the obvious, "The Bible", it would have to be "The Love Dare" as featured in FireProof The Movie.

Mary: "The Agony and the Ecstasy" by Irving Stone

Jayne: The books I enjoy reading just for pleasure are about pioneer men and women. My favorite is "No Time On My Hands" by Grace Snyder and daughter Nellie Snyder Yost.

Tom: Besides the Bible, "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti

Jen: The Bible, and then the Beverly Lewis series of books.

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

Greg: The Navigator representatives who worked with me while I was at college at the UW-Madison. They drilled into me the importance of being a disciple of Jesus.

Bruce: Probably my wife, Chris. She is supportive and encouraging in so many ways...I can learn a lot from her.

Ann:

Mike P: My high school Spanish teacher. He helped me get started in my faith.

Mike E: Pastors of churches I've attended and people at Christian radio stations I've listened to growing up on Long Island, New York

Mary: My grandmother - Stella McCarthy

Jayne: My husband, Glen. He has been my best friend for over 25 years. He has been a Christ like example of love to me.

Tom: My parents.

Jen: My 6th grade music teacher Karen. I am so grateful that she encouraged me to stay with my piano!
